  We had so much fun with this cake. We used it for the office birthday party. I was hoping it will come with air pump but it didn't. With a friend of mine who had air compressor, cake was inflated. One tip when doing this, better to do it outside. We had problem taking cake out thru the door once inflated. Inflated it won't fit inside the regular size car either, we had to use a pick up truck.   This is the best looking happy birthday banner I've seen. No store has one this nice, I looked everywhere before I ordered it online. Too bad the picture doesn't really do it justice. The colors are more pastel and much prettier. The letters are high quality and very thick and the glitter doesn't come off.Mine actually came in one long piece, not two divided pieces as shown. I suppose you could take the ribbon out and seperate the banner but we left it as one long piece and had it outside. The glitter under the sun was beautiful. I stored it for future years since the quality looks like it'll hold up beautifully.   1) The product I received missed "R" in "Birthday". So it looked "BI THDAY".2) It's not double-leveled as shown on the website or in the packaging picture. There is only one string that hangs both "Happy" and "Birthday" on the same level.3) There are tiny plastic flakes on top of each character. They peel off easily and fall everywhere you take the banner. We had other balloons filled at the same time and its been 3 days and they are still on the ceiling. I was a bit disappointed with the size of the fans, they do not give the diameter in the description, so, please not not make the same mistake that I made, believing the photo was to scale. Here are the sizes of the fans when open: 2~ 16", 2~ 12" and 2~ 8". They will work okay, I'll just hang a few pom-poms with them.   I used these for a New Year's Eve tablescape that I created. I cut out "cheers" letters and used removable glue dots to adhere them to the banner. With the removable glue dots you can tailor the banner to the party/event and still be able to reuse the banner with other messages. The paper material is fairly heavy so it doesn't wear and tear too easily. And the cord is a cute peppermint twist.
