  Not THAT small

  After reading some of the reviews, I was expecting this toy to be really tiny. It's not, it's an average size, actually, it's exactly 8" tall, just like it says here. It's supercute and looks exactly like Boots is supposed to look, except it's a bit long and narrow, Boots is shorter and has a tummy :) I bought it together with Swiper the Fox and they are about the same size.   Very durable. My 3 year old loves it.

  There's not a lot one can say about a stuffed animal.   My 2 year old is in love with Dora, so I thought this would be a great present for her. I was excited when I got the package, but a tad bit disappointed by the size.   My two year old loves it, I hate it

  If I hear the Dora opening song one more time...I'll...I'll...there is goes again in my head.I would have banned this show from the house a long time ago, but my children are iPad and iPhone computer scientists, who seem to be able to find Dora on 1x wifi connections on a dusty road in Arizona. At the core, this show is super formulaic and annoying in its repetition. I suppose we can't make too big of a deal of this since most other entertainment have some repletion, but Dora takes it to an extreme. How are they going to get to the top of Candy Top Mountain? How!? Who cares! I hope the troll eats them this time. It would be good to show the kids that sometimes plans don't work out. Swiper the Fox get Boot's shoes, and Dora falls into the Swamp.   Daughter's Favorite Show

  My daughter is absolutely obsessed with Dora! She has loved this show ever since she was 18 months old and now shes almost 3 and watches it consistently. I never would have thought she would learn spanish watching this show but she has!   This item just arrived, a gift for my 2 year-old son. He was thrilled when he saw it. It was therefore terribly upsetting to discover the following warning (in tiny print) on one of the product labels: "WARNING: This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm." This warning follows the requirements of California Proposition 65 (ample material about it on the web). This warning is, of course, unacceptably vague. However, no caring parent would risk exposing their child to a toxic substance. This morning, my son woke up asking for his backpack.   Cute but small

  I bought this bag for my 3 year old daughter this Christmas. She loves Dora and has been asking for this backpack for the longest time. She was thrilled when she got it but when she wanted to put a book in it and a folder, they didn't fit. It's quite small and when you put something a little heavy in it, the magnetic closing comes open. So all in all, if your kid will use it for play, it's fine.   I was so excited to give this toy to my 3 year old who LOVES dora and backpack. It is an adorable looking backpack...everything we wanted. But after I opened it, I just happened to read the tag on it and in very small print it reads, "Warning! This product contains a chemical known to the state of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm." I cannot believe that this product is being sold with such a warning!   We were worried after reading the negative reviews of dangerous chemicals... but this back pack is wonderful. I cannot find this warning others speak of inside her bag. There is no odor with the bag. It is lined with a thin nylon type material that should be great for cleaning up messes. It is big enough for my daughter to fit her light-weight blankie, small stuffed animal, snacks and a few small toys in. She also keeps unfolding the map, pretends to study it and puts it away again.   Great Product and Great Bargin

  There were four full sets of Dora scenes in this package. One set of "little" about 4" tall with similar sized trees and butterflies to place around them, and three sets of "big" Dora's, about 12" tall with similar sized trees and butterflies. There's a few Boots in there too. They are good quality, cute, colorful, different poses, and stick wonderfully. You don't have to do anything to them or the wall, not even clean it or wet it- for them to stick.   We got this toy as an airplance travel distraction, and my daughter thought it was the best thing in the world... Until she lost it during the trip. We bought it again for her 3rd birthday, and she is still playing with it.   Who doesn't love Dora the Explorer!

  I'm breaking out of my comfort zone here (I usually ONLY review books, movies and music) to review a toy I recently purchased for my daughter (this is the first of potentially 5 reviews). My daughter (who is 2) is IN LOVE with Dora and Diego. She already has a few Dora dolls (not to mention a bedspread) but I just couldn't resist these little Ty dolls.I actually really like the size. She can stuff all five of her dolls in her Dora Backpack and take them around the house with her. I won't let her sleep with Dora or Diego yet (as some have mentioned, the hair is kind of scary in that it looks like it could easily come out) but she has enough other dolls (Boots for one) to sleep with.Yes, I gave it only four stars on durability since the ware and tear of a toddler can do some damage. Boots already is separating at the seams on his legs, so I had to get onto my little one for pulling at his legs.   Seven Dora adventures for a fraction of the price? What a great bargain! I found the Spanish Word Guide in back to be very helpful with pronunciations (24 words total). Especially when reading stories such as ?Good Night Dora? which contains the Spanish words for several sleepy animals. When we first got this book, my daughters wanted me to read it to them all the way through. Now they select their favorites, like ?Meet Diego? and ?Dora?s Treasure Hunt.? The seven stories are abridged versions of the immensely popular Nickelodeon TV series. Note that if you compare a story in the book to the actual TV show, some details have been omitted. For example, Pirate Parrot and Swiper do not hunt treasure in the book. BUT ? my girls could care less.   Not worth the money

  I purchased this item because we already had the Sesame Street Munchkin dining set (which is fantastic). I was going to just buy another one of those, but I saw this one and decided to get it because it was different. I figured that it would be the same exact thing with just different characters on it. It is not the same. The Sesame Street set has held up for a longer period of time with no issues. This set, however, has not. My main issue is with the plate. I put it in the dishwasher (top rack as indicated), and it came out with the plastic rippled and coming off. It gets worse with each wash. In addition, the spoon and fork are bigger and clunkier than the Sesame Street set.
